Elizabeth Bamgbose, PhD, CRNA is an Assistant Program Director and an Associate Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology at the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine, Program of Nurse Anesthesia. She has greater than 20 years of experience in the field of nursing and healthcare at prestigious medical centers on the East and West coast, including her current work as the CEO of a robust independent practice group. Dr. Bamgbose works to continually grow her own research portfolio while simultaneously enlightening future nurse anesthesiologists on the importance of translational science. Her research focuses on mental health and suicidality among nurse anesthesia residents. On the national platform, Dr. Bamgbose is a member of the AANA Infection Control Advisory Panel, serves as an elected official on the Bylaws and Resolutions Committee, and is honored to be a Trustee for the AANA Foundation Board of Directors. With a passion for advancing the profession of nurse anesthesia, Dr. Bamgbose feels great pride in representing the brilliant members of the California Association of Nurse Anesthetists as an active member of the Practice Committee and a relentless advocate for the profession of nurse anesthesiology.
